Microsoft have launched an Office 365 toolbar for macOS called “My Workspace“, providing Mac users with a fast way to access documents, calendar items, and more. A result of Microsoft’s Garage program, a program that encourages employees to create apps in their spare time, this latest app is designed to sit in your toolbar area. You can see a quick overview of calendar items, join Skype meetings or respond to events.
My Workspace also includes a list of recently used files – similar to Dropbox – you can also pin important ones or just open them up straight from the app. There’s also quick shortcuts to Office 365 settings and the ability to pin Office apps like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or Outlook. Thee app is completely free to use and is a useful addition if you’re a Mac user who regularly uses Microsoft Office 365 documents.
